Game Night!

Mega Catan games.
Landry was great host that night.
Distant banjos played.

Players

Tony, Matt, Dennis,
Pete, Paul, Joe, Beej and Catan.
Drove to South Lyon.

Menu

So much food and drinks!
Landry's Swedish meatballs, too.
Guests brought things to share.

Executive Summary

Beej persecution.
Kitten pees on his food plate?
His plight makes Klaus weep.

The Games

Mega Catan played.
Harbor Master, Lair, road/port!.
With eight, ten points win.

Colors for the night

Beej mint, Landry plaid,
Pete pink, Matt brown, Dennis, Paul
green, Joe orange, Tony.

Wait. What?

Dennis claims Tony
"is human butt plug." Oh, snap!
Matt's lean can't stop Pete.

Do my eyes deceive?
Pete wins Best Costume Award.
Watch letter order!

Game 1

The order of placement and movement

Beej, Pete, Landry, Matt,
Joe, Dennis, Paul, and Tony
in double placement

Resources

Where are the forests?
And darn few get bricks this game.
Twin desert? Oh no!

Starting Map:

Here are the TONY (Total Original Number Yield) rankings this game: Joe: 25; Beej and Matt: 21; Pete, Landry, and Tony: 20; Dennis and Paul: 19.

Joe's road not enough.
Pete claims all of our rocks. Then ...
Harbor Master Pete!

End Map:

Pete won with 10 points including harbor master. Following were Beej with 8; Joe (including victory point) and Dennis with 6; Matt, Paul, and Tony (including longest road) with 5, and Landry with 3.

"Probability"

Six was great. Huzzah!
So much 11 this game!
Can you count on it?

Game 2

The order of placement and movement

Dennis, Paul, Tony,
Beej, Pete, Landry, Matt, and Joe
in DP placement.

Resources

Who gets bricks this game?
Adjacent Lairs! Not again!
Wood chopped down. So sad ...

Starting Map:

The TONY rankings were Paul: 26, myself: 23, Landry and Matt: 20, Dennis and Tony: 19, Pete: 18, and Joe: 17.

Matt sad. So much rock.
Nine points give Paul hope for joy.
Beej builds roads. Gets ten.

End Map

I had ten points including the longest road, followed by Paul (9), Pete (8, with harbor master), Matt (7), Tony (including victory point) and Dennis (6), Landry (5 with largest army), and Joe (3).

"Probability"

The seven excelled
while 8 surpassed 6 this game.
Eleven again!

Game 3

The order of placement and movement

Tony, BJ, Pete,
Landry, Matt, Joe, Dennis, and
Paul--eager DP!

Resources

Separate deserts!
Wow! Can you believe the wood?
But brick a problem.

Starting Map:

The TONY rankings were Tony, myself, Peter, and Dennis: 22, Paul: 21, Landry: 20, Joe: 18, and Matt: 17.

Dennis builds most ports.
Short road for Tony's triumph.
Landry's kitten pees.

End Map

Tony won with 10, including the longest road. Following were myself and Dennis (harbor master) with 8, Joe and Paul with 6, Pete with 5, Landry with 3, and Matt with 2.

"Probability"

Where were "6" and "8"?
"5" sure worked well! Eleven?
Probability!

That was about it

We wrapped up at 10.
We struck no chickens leaving!
Egg for Landry? Hmmm.

Miscellaneous

Thank you Joe with pen!
He tracks "probability"
without a slide rule.

Robbers plague Catan!
Who rolled a "7" the most?
Beej guilty of charge.

What attention span?
Too many words hurt our brains.
Here's a Catan meme:

And a color chart!
Feel shame at history guy,
you engineer types:

The lowest TONY, 17, was established twice in the evening. The most common was 20, established six times.

Much fun! Thank you all.
We ate too much. Tummies hurt.
Casa Beej in May!
